It’s Easy Being Green
Enjoy browsing among our fair-trade renewable and recycled products. Sustainability is a way of life in Peru, partly out of necessity and partly due to the close ties people have with nature. As a result, much of our collection is produced from recycled or renewable materials. Hand-carved gourds, for example, are naturally grown, beautiful to look at and functional by design. Our Alpaca and cotton finger puppets are made from natural fibers. Hand-sewn 3-D Arpillera quilts are made from bits of recycled fabric, while our keepsake boxes and hand painted mirrors are made from renewable wood composite. We’re proud to support the upward mobility of the artists creating these beautiful works of art. The artists we feature are friends of ours and friends of the environment.
