She began and perfected what is now known as the Primavera technique and added brightness to the traditional monochromatic carved gourds. As a modern twist to this 4000 year old tradition, these ornaments represent a new folk art form that is constantly evolving! They are surprisingly resistant so kids can safely enjoy them as well.
