Peruvian gourd carving masters follow a tradition 4,000 years old as they finely carve intricate patterns using hand chisels and then naturally color each individual design using an ancient fire-burning technique. Sizes and details shown will vary as nature and the artist intended. The inside of this gourd box is finished with a protective coating.
